I am Surinder Kumar Sharma from Delhi. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer stage 1. I did a bit of searching and came across Dr Ashish Sabharwal’s name who has an expertise in robotic radical prostatectomy that is when I decided to consult him. He clearly explained to me about the possible treatment and its post effects. I finally underwent Robotic radical prostatectomy in Apollo hospital, Delhi on 4.3.2023 by Dr Ashish Sabharwal. My catheter was removed 10 days after the surgery on 14.3.2023 and since then I have not faced any problem of urine leakage that is one of the possible post surgery effect. Excellent services were given by Dr Ashish. I personally recommend him to anyone who has similar problem and looking for an expert in the area. Its all because of him I can finally call myself cancer free. May God bless him with long and happy life.

I am 65 year old male, Gurgaon. Had complaint of LUTS and haematuria. Elevated PSA 10.7. Further tests revealed polypoidal growth in relation to prostrate. I visited Indraprastha Apollo hospital, Sarita Vihar, and Dr. Ashish Sabharwal. He suggested robotic assisted radical prostatectomy. I immediately accepted his suggestion and underwent treatment august ’22. Operation was uneventful and I tolerated the procedure well. I was discharged from hospital with advice of regular medicines. After removal of catheter regular kegal exercises took care of my urine leakage problem. Presently I understand that I am carefree with no problem. Best wishes to Dr. Ashish Sabharwal and team to provide such good care and treatment under his guidance. God bless you and keep you going. Anil Nigam (Posted by patient’s daughter)

I was diagnosed of prostate cancer in November 2022 and was recommended for Robotic Surgery in India. I was introduced by Dr Atim to Dr Ashish Sabharwal of Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, India. The visa processing, airport reception in India on arrival, hotel accommodation arrangements as well as the attitude, hospitality and professionalism of all those involved in my treatment were highly commendable. I arrived India on 11 Jan 23 and after undergoing all the necessary tests/scans, I underwent the Robotic Radical Prostatectomy on 14 Jan 23 at the Apollo Hospital undertaken by Dr Ashish Sabharwal. The surgery was successful and I was discharged from the hospital three days after the surgery. Ten days after the surgery, the catheter was removed and to a large extent, I had my urinary control within 72 hours. I am now prostate cancer free. To God be the glory. This is to commend Dr Ashish and his team for a job weldone. And I will sincerely recommend Dr Ashish/Apollo Hospital India to anyone with prostate cancer that may require their services.

I am a beneficiary of this treatment. I was diagnosed with localised early stage prostate Cancer in Nairobi hospital Kenya. After consulting with my doctor in Nairobi we agreed that robotic surgery would be the best for my case. We looked around the internet and agreed on Apollo hospital New Delhi. I communicated with the hospital and was immediately booked to travel. I arrived in India on 9th December,I met Dr Ashish Shabawal on 10th December 2022 and he requested the tests done for admission. I was admitted in the hospital on 11th December and was operated on 12/12/2022. Robotic radical prostatectomy was done. I remained in hospital for three days and on the fourth day I was released to go and recuperate. Dr Ashish Shabawal was very helpful. We kept on communicating on phone. On the 10th day after surgery the catheter was removed. Dr. Ashish has agreed I am now fit to travel back to my home country Kenya. What a wonderful team you have here. May you be blessed.

In June 2022 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and as normal procedure I went for the Biopsy and PET scan which showed that the cancer had not spread to other areas. My local Urologist in ZIMBABWE recommended India for Robotic Radical Prostatectomy surgery. INDIA is renowned for experienced medical doctors as well as advanced technology in the medical field. A family friend recommended Dr Ashish Sabharwal, Senior Consultant Urologist and Robotic Surgeon based in New Delhi India. We got intouch with him in July 2022 and he helped to facilitate the necessary travel arrangements. We arrived in New Delhi on 28th July 2022 and Dr Ashish did all the tests to check if I was fit for the Robotic surgery. On 29th July 2022 after the successful tests Dr Ashish and his team carried out the Robotic Radical Prostatectomy procedure on me successfully. All this was done at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. The professionalism of all staff under Dr Ashish was outstanding and the follow up even after we returned to ZIMBABWE exhibits care of high standard. After three months of the procedure I am completely healed and no urine leaks and I am cancer free.

I was treated of prostate cancer at Apollo hospital India about a month ago by Dr Ashish and his team. I got fantastic services from reception at the airport to treatment in the hospital. I only remembered when I was rolled into the theatre for the robotic surgery and the next I was out in the ward. I didn't feel pain, no blood loss. I had about three days stay in the hospital but could actually Walk around in those three days. I have been doing well since my discharge. Robotic surgery remains the best for prostate cancer and Dr Ashish has dexterity in the manipulation of the robotic machine. I remain grateful to the team.

I know Dr, Ashish through my family Doctor in Nigeria.I was operated by Dr, Ashish at Apollo Indrapastra Hospital in India on July 1st 2018 for Enlarged Prostate Cancer using Radical Robotic SurgeryThe surgery was a success without any complications.I overcome my continence within three months, however, it took about 11 months before regaining my erection. Everything about my prostate issue is completely gone now.Dr, Ashish is a workaholic, I realized that he operated three of us that same day and he was able to conduct post surgery visits and inspections for all us the second day (morning & evening)I am highly impressed with his work rate and other staffs in the Hospital (nurses, cleaners and admin staffs)
